Adeshina Afolayan

Adeshina AFOLAYAN teaches Philosophy at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. His areas of interest include the philosophy of politics, African philosophy and the philosophy of modernity. Some of his publications have appeared in Journal of Social Philosophy, Social and Political Thought, Philosophia, Ibadan Journal of Humanistic Studies, Human Affairs, and so on. He is presently researching into the possibility of an African modernity mediated by the Yoruba concept of Olaju (enlightenment).
